Book Review & Takeaways: Do Nothing by Celeste Headlee

Relaxing is not my strong suit. Of course, I always feel better after taking a break. But I'm constantly catching myself trying to squeeze in one more thing (or twenty) before I call it quits for the day. I recently turned to Do Nothing: How to Break Away from Overworking, Overdoing, and Underliving by Celeste Headlee for a much-needed CTFO pep-talk.

Lessons I Learned in My First Year as a Full-Time Business-Owner (The State of Free Period 2021)

It's been a smidge over a year since I've gone full-time with Free Period, so I thought it'd be a good time for a check-in! (Mostly for myself, but happy to share. 🙂)

2020 was quite the roller coaster, but it wasn't all bad. Being forced to stay home made me examine the what, how, and why of my work — and I learned a ton.

Book Review & Takeaways: Big Dreams, Daily Joys

I'm trying something new to share books I've loved. Instead of attempting to summarize an entire book for you, I'll be sharing what especially resonated with me or changed my outlook. After all, that's supposedly the point of self-development books, right? First up is Big Dreams, Daily Joys by Elise Blaha Cripe.

Sunday Power Hour: My Secret to a Productive Week Ahead

As the Routine Queen (TM), I wanted to share my new-ish Sunday night ritual. I realized that my Sunday Night Blues were mostly due to having a vague sense of dread of not knowing what I would be walking into the next week.
